We are thrilled to announce that the leavers of the Class of 2025 recorded the highest response rate we have ever achieved, with 27% of parents choosing to support the JAGS Bursary Fund through the donation of their deposit.
Thanks to this incredible support, we have raised a total of £19,697.08, including Gift Aid. This amount will help fund about 92%, almost a full bursary for one academic year, out of a total cost of approximately £21,500. A full bursary at JAGS covers not only tuition, but also transport, lunches, school trips, uniform, clubs, and co-curricular activities, ensuring that all of our pupils enjoy the full JAGS experience.
JAGS is proud to be one of the leading schools in the country for bursary support. Currently, around 15% of pupils, over 140 students, in our Senior School receive bursaries, which is significantly higher than the national average of 7%.
In this challenging climate, we are more dependent than ever on the philanthropic support of the JAGS community, to sustain the bursary funding we currently offer. We are immensely grateful to all the families who have chosen to support. Your generosity helps us continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities to bright, talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances.
