Welcome from the Head

"It is a pleasure to welcome you to the JAGS Alumnae Association website. We hope that contained in these pages you will find a combination of news, memories, friendships and connections that both reflect all that you treasure from your time at JAGS and provide the opportunity to strengthen your connections within our community of alumnae and with the school.

As alumnae you will be only too aware of our distinctive heritage as the oldest independent girls’ school in London, coupled with our forward-thinking and contemporary education for this vibrant school community. It is absolutely my belief that all girls should be given the opportunity to grow and flourish in an environment where there is no limit to their ambitions. Ours is a happy and diverse community, rooted in academic excellence and fully committed to the breadth of a holistic education both in and out of the classroom, where every day we celebrate a passion for life and learning.

Under the care of our Development and Alumnae Relations team, we hope that you too will find the opportunities to share the special bonds that stem from a JAGS education. We are so grateful for all the support offered by our alumnae, both through careers and mentoring advice, and in support for our Bursary programme. We very much look forward to welcoming you on your next visit to school."

Mrs Alex Hutchinson
Head

Welcome from the Head of Development & Alumnae Relations

"A warm welcome to the JAGS alumnae community and our brand-new website! I am Karen Doyle, your new Head of Development and Alumnae Relations. I have the exciting responsibility of leading on building and growing an active JAGS global alumnae community from the moment a student enrols with the school, to when they leave, and at all stages beyond JAGS.

Our aim quite simply is to make your JAGS Alumnae Association one of the best in the country. Key priorities currently include; developing a brand-new programme of JAGS Alumnae events, ranging from class year reunions and professional networking events; launching alumnae clubs and chapters for you to enjoy; developing our careers network, and keeping you up-to-date with all the latest news. Your feedback and involvement are pivotal in shaping our plans. So please reach out to us at alumnae@jags.org.uk, we would love to hear from you.

Expanding the JAGS Bursary Fund is another key priority. The bursary fund has positively transformed countless lives, and the support of the alumnae community in raising funds is invaluable.

Finally, on behalf of the DAR team, we look forward to meeting many of you soon... and if you ever are in SE22, please give us a call. You are always welcome back at the school."

Ms Karen Doyle,
Head of Development and Alumnae Relations
