Tune into ‘Ghosts’ on Friday 6 October on BBC iPlayer!

We are thrilled to celebrate the journey of alumna Charlotte Ritchie (2007), as she takes her final bow in the fifth season of BBC's beloved series ‘Ghosts’.

Charlotte stars as Alison Cooper, one half of a young couple who inherit a haunted estate. The series follows a collection of ghosts from different historical periods haunting a country house while sharing the house with its new living occupants. The show's unique blend of humour and the supernatural has garnered plenty of critical acclaim since its debut in 2019.

After her time at JAGS, Charlotte graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in English and Drama. Since graduating, she has enjoyed a successful acting career, demonstrating her knack for comedic timing, with The Guardian hailing her as the ‘Queen of Comedy’.

She has enjoyed roles in the Channel 4 series ‘Fresh Meat’, ‘Stath Lets Flats’ and ‘Dead Pixels’. She also starred opposite Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley in Netflix’s psychological thriller series ‘You’.

We are excited to see what Charlotte does next, her journey from JAGS to the screen has been nothing short of remarkable. All of us here at JAGS offer our warmest congratulations.
