University offers are pouring in for our Year 13 students with an exciting range of institutions and courses reflecting their talent and ambitions. An impressive 22% of our Y13 university applicants have received an offer from Oxford or Cambridge.

As well as the confirmed offers from Oxford and Cambridge, the vast majority of students who have applied to Russell Group universities have also received offers, with more to come. Offers received cover a diverse range of subjects including Biochemistry, Economics, Pharmacy, History, Aeronautical Engineering, Medicine, Japanese, Mechanical Engineering, Law, History of Art and Veterinary Medicine.

Offers from Cambridge have been received for courses such as Maths, Theology, Geography, Natural Sciences, Medicine, French & Italian, Anglo-Saxon, Norse & Celtic and Computer Science. Offers from Oxford include Biomedical Sciences, Russian, English, Philosophy, Politics & Economics and Italian & French.

Head of Sixth Form, Matthew Weeks said:

‘JAGS Year 13 students have approached their UCAS applications in a mature, thoughtful and organised manner, prepared to be aspirational and aim high. Their approach has delivered wonderful success across a variety of courses and institutions. I have also been very impressed by the way in which the significant numbers who have received positive news about Oxford and Cambridge applications have shared their news with sensitivity and consideration for their friends and colleagues. They are an inspirational group of young women and will go on to have stellar achievements on their post JAGS journey.’

A huge congratulations to our Year 13 pupils for their fantastic offers so far.
