It is with great sadness, we announce to the JAGS alumnae community, that former Head of Maths, Sara Glover, passed away last Tuesday 14th April 2026, after a long illness. Sara taught at JAGS for twenty seven years, and cared passionately about JAGS and the students she taught. Sara was a popular, much loved member of staff, and a unique and wonderful friend to many.

Sara’s funeral will be at 1.00pm, on Thursday 7th May in Gravesend. If you would like to attend, please can you contact alumnae@jags.org.uk and we will send you further information and pass on your details to Sara’s family. In the event you are unable to attend, a webcast will be available.  Please can you RSVP as soon as you can, so that the family have an idea of numbers for catering purposes. The family have asked us to politely remind everyone that it will be family flowers only and ​everyone is welcome.
