It is with great sadness that we inform the JAGS community of the passing of alumna Agnes Frimston (Class of 2005). Agnes was born 23 July 1987 and passed away 17 June 2023 at age 36.
Agnes attended JAGS from 1998 to 2005, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language, followed by a Master’s in Victorian Literature at the University of Leeds.
Her career in editorial work began as an intern at Pocket London, followed by a role as Assistant to the Editor at The Lady Magazine. She later joined The World Today Magazine at Chatham House, where she served as Deputy Editor for over a decade. In 2018, Agnes co-founded the Undercurrents podcast, which focused on global issues often overlooked by mainstream media.
Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and colleagues. Agnes’s legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
