We have the pleasure of hosting our Spring Term choral and orchestral concert in the stunning space and acoustic of Southwark Cathedral. The programme features a variety of music from 11th century Gregorian chant to the world premiere of a piece written by Peter Gritton especially for the JAGS String Orchestra. We have concerto movements from two of our Sixth Form music scholars, who are playing masterpieces by Elgar and Vaughan Williams. The concert finishes with Bernstein’s sumptuous “Chichester Psalms” with the Choral Society, Holst Choir and Bel Canto.
Please note there is no interval during the concert. Guests must enter the cathedral via the Millenium Courtyard.
