We were delighted to welcome back so many alumnae to the JAGS Alumnae Association’s 2026 annual Alumnae Reunion Tea. Holst Hall was filled with alumnae spanning a wide range of cohorts, from as far back as 1947 through to 2025!

We were especially pleased to celebrate milestone reunions with the Class of 1966 marking their 60-year reunion, the Class of 1976 their 50-year reunion and the Class of 1986 celebrating 40 years since leaving JAGS. It was wonderful to see so many reconnecting with friends they had not seen for years, alongside JAGS staff, and the JAGS Head Girl Team. All enjoyed catching up and hearing about the extraordinary paths our JAs have taken since leaving JAGS.

The event was hosted by Head Alex Hutchinson, who warmly welcomed guests and spoke about life at JAGS today, the exciting developments taking place across the school, and the vital importance of bursaries and the role of community support. Karen Doyle, Head of Development & Alumnae Relations, also shared updates on the work of the Development & Alumnae Relations team and the continued growth of the 1741 Club in support of the JAGS Bursary Fund. Following a drinks reception in Holst Hall, alumnae enjoyed a trip down memory lane with guided tours of the school. It was a pleasure to hear stories and reflections on their time at JAGS and the teachers who shaped their journeys.

Guests were then treated to a delicious afternoon tea in the Dining Hall, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The afternoon also featured a fascinating archive display curated by Helen Stein, Head of Library and Archives, offering a rich glimpse into the school’s history.

It was a joy to see so many alumnae gathered together again, and we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year!
