Congratulations go to Katie Snowden (2012)! In a remarkable display of determination, Katie secured an outstanding 8th place finish in the prestigious World Athletics Championship 1500M race held in Budapest earlier this summer.

Katie has come away with an English 1500M record and lowered her lifetime best from 4:00.04 to 3:56.72 to move to second on the British all-time list! The England team was the only team to have three women in the final: Katie alongside runners Laura Muir and Melissa Courtney-Bryant.

Her incredible performance has not only demonstrated her athletic prowess but also positioned her as an inspiration to so many athletes worldwide.

Well done to Katie. She has made the JAGS community so proud.
