JAGS Alumnae win silver at The Silver Tassie

Join us in congratulating, Dawn Elliott (Armfield), Angela Darby (Batts), Janet Alldread and Gillie Litterick (Finch) on placing second at The Silver Tassie golf tournament on Monday 23 May.

The annual golf tournament was founded in 1961 for Alumnae of Independent Schools. The Silver Tassie is a woman’s golf competition golf competition founded in 1961 for Alumnae of Independent Schools, which are members of the Independent Schools Joint Council. One of the founding schools being JAGS.

This is not the first time the team has placed. The team has previously won in 2004 and came second in 2006.

They are always looking for alumnae who play golf to join the group, it is a great way of meeting fellow alumni while socialising with a round of golf. If you are interested in joining, they have an annual golf day at varying courses. Next year they will be returning to Dulwich and Sydenham Hill Golf Club.

Anyone who would like to join the team, feel free to contact Gillie at litterickgm@hotmail.com.
