The JAGS Chinese Parents Community warmly invites you to join us for the Mid-Autumn Festival Tea and Mooncake Tasting Evening on Monday 6 October 2025 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at JAGS.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a significant celebration in Chinese culture. It symbolises family reunions, gratitude for the harvest, and prayers for good fortune. The full moon reflects people's longing for their hometowns and loved ones, as well as their hopes for a better life. Mooncakes, a special delicacy, symbolise unity and completeness.
This celebration offers a wonderful opportunity to experience traditional Chinese tea and mooncakes while enjoying the festive spirit together. You are welcome to bring mooncakes to share.
